How Cheetah Trading Works
Learn how to discover trending tokens, track wallets, receive alerts and trade memecoins through Cheetah.
From opening the app to placing a trade
Cheetah is designed so the whole loop, find a token, size it up, buy it, and plan your exit, happens in a handful of taps. Here is the end-to-end flow, step by step, whether you use the Telegram bot or the iOS/Android app.
The end-to-end walkthrough
Create and fund your wallet
When you start, Cheetah sets up an embedded Solana wallet for you. Send SOL to its address to fund it, that SOL covers your trades plus Solana network and priority fees. Your keys are encrypted, and you can withdraw to another wallet at any time. See how custody works for an honest breakdown of what that means.
Discover a token
Use the trending screener to surface new and active Solana tokens, or spot a token because a wallet you track just bought it. You can filter and sort to narrow the list down to candidates worth a closer look.
Review the market data
Before committing, check the token’s live data, price, liquidity, volume and age, and run its rug and liquidity checks. No check is a guarantee, but these help you avoid the most obvious traps and thin-liquidity tokens.
Buy with your priority fee and slippage
Enter the SOL amount and tap to buy. You control the priority fee (to help your order land quickly when the network is busy) and your slippage tolerance (how much price movement you will accept before the trade fails). Cheetah charges 0.5% per trade (0.4% if you were referred), and network, priority and slippage costs are separate.
Set take-profit and stop-loss
Plan your exit in advance. Set a take-profit target and a stop-loss level so the position can close automatically if the token runs or reverses. You can also use limit orders and DCA for entries and exits. In thin liquidity these can still slip, so treat them as risk tools, not guarantees.
Track wallets and optionally copy them
Add wallets to your tracker to watch their buys and sells, opt into smart-money alerts, and, if you want hands-off entries, set up copy trading to mirror a wallet with a fixed SOL amount per trade.
Practice first with demo trading
If you are new to any of this, Cheetah includes demo (paper) trading so you can run through the same flow with simulated funds and learn the interface before you risk real SOL. When you are comfortable, switch to live trading and start small.
What to keep in mind
Speed and tooling do not remove risk. Memecoins are extremely volatile, exits can slip in low liquidity, and alerts and rug checks depend on on-chain data timing. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
